　　Before using any medicine, tell health care professionals:

　　用药前，应向健康保健专业人员说明下列情况：

　　l If you have ever had an allergic or unusual reaction to any medicine, food, or other substance, such as sulfites.

　　l 你是否有药物、食物或其他物品过敏史，如亚硫酸盐过敏？

　　l If you are on a low-salt, low-sugar, or any other special diet. Most medicines contain more than their active ingredient, and many liquid medicines contain alcohol.

　　l 你是否在作低盐、低糖或其他特殊饮食治疗？因为多数药品在有效成份以外还含有其他配料，很多液体药品还含酒精。

　　l If you are pregnant or if you plan to become pregnant. Certain medicines may cause birth defects or other problems in the unborn child. For other medicines, safe use during pregnancy has not been established. The use of any medicine during pregnancy must be carefully considered and should be discussed with a health care professional.

　　l 你是否怀孕或准备怀孕？因为有些药物可致胎儿先天性缺陷或其他问题，还有一些药物对胎儿的影响目前尚不确定。妊娠期间用药应格外小心，并应与健康保健专业人士进行沟通。

　　l If you are breast-feeding. Some medicines may pass into the breast milk and cause unwanted effects in the baby.

　　l 你在哺乳吗？因为有些药物可进入母乳，不利婴儿健康。

　　l If you are now taking or have taken any medicines or dietary supplements in the recent past. Do not forget over-the-counter (nonprescription) medicines such as pain relievers, laxatives, and antacids or dietary supplements.

　　l 你是否正在或在最近曾服用其他药品或进行饮食补充治疗，包括非处方药，如止痛药、缓泻药、制酸剂及其他饮食补充药物？

　　l If you have any medical problems other than the one(s) for which your medicine was prescribed.

　　药品存放

　　It is important to store your medicines properly. Guidelines for proper storage include:

　　药品存放很重要，正确存放药品应做到：

　　l Keep out of the reach of children. （form www.med66.com ）

　　l 药品应放在儿童够不到的地方；

　　l Keep medicines in their original containers.

　　l 药品应保存在原始包装盒内；

　　l Store away from heat and direct light.

　　l 药品应避热、避光；

　　l Do not store capsules or tablets in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink, or in other damp places. Heat or moisture may cause the medicine to break down. Also, do not leave the cotton plug in a medicine container that has been opened, since it may draw moisture into the container.

　　l 不要在浴室、厨房水池边上及其他潮湿的地方储存药品。热、潮可使药品变质。不要将棉塞留在已经打开过的药瓶内，以避免将潮气吸入瓶内；

　　l Do not store medicines in the refrigerator unless directed to do so.

　　l Do not leave your medicines in an automobile for long periods of time.

　　l Do not keep outdated medicine or medicine that is no longer needed.

　　l 不要保留过期或一再需要的药品；

　　l Be sure that any discarded medicine is out of the reach of children.

　　l 处理药品时应丢在儿童不及之处。
